May 2011 Challenge - Saythen Empire

This world as a whole is the Bronze Age, although many less developed regions are still using stone tools end Age, and there may be one or two areas to experiment with gifted Technology iron. The companies listed here are roughly the equivalent of Akkadian and Sumerian empires by 27-2300 BCE. Many areas between cities are still deserted, and country boundaries represent the approximate area actually controlled, rather than the modern method of claim all the land available, even if useless or dangerous.(Note that this does not mean leaders do not have master tracks involving various leaders threw distant lands. It is a habit of leaders of these lands from land with.) Saythen Empire: The city is Sayth at the confluence of two great rivers, where Falohani joined Yawan. It lies about 100 miles inland from the coast, he avoids the worst ravages of the aptly-named Sea of Storms. City Phaen has long been under the influence of Sayth, and added the recent invasion of property and casualty Kinar cities and lands around the river Letus their empire. This has put them in conflict with former rival IArt Turma, who seized the opportunity to expand their territory at the expense of IArt. The hills are sparsely populated Serescrub because of the difficulty in farming the steep hills, slopes and the ever present danger of wildfire. Many dangerous animals and fell in the hills and wandering, making them even travel through a dangerous proposition at best. And above and beyond the Hills, at the very edge of this map, lies a large arid expanse of mountainous terrain, meaning that even if one were inclined to brave the Hills, there would be very little reason to attempt the journey in the first place. Oh, quick map question- what is the standard way of depicting Chapparal on maps? The Serescrub Hills is actually chapparal, similar to the hills of California and other places, not a regular deciduous forest like we would typically think of one. But someone pointed out to me that the coloration I put there would make one think it was a normal forest, at 10000'. I decided to recolor the chapparal of the Serescrub Hills into a more typical brown hill coloration, and I didn't really like using an English word combination as the name of them, so I went ahead and renamed them as well. And to provide a bit of consistency, since I named the hills, I also gave names to the forests.
