In order to comply with State Assembly Bill 939, which required all cities and counties to reduce their waste 50% by the year 2000, The City of Blythe adopted a mandatory recycling ordinance. In the City of Blythe only one container is provided to customers for the storage and collection of recyclables. Please use these containers only for recycling the materials listed. Simply place the full containers at the curbside by 6:00 a.m. on your regular service day. Check your city for services availability.

Empty all contents and remove lids from containers, but it is not necessary to remove labels. Please flatten cans and plastic bottles and jugs whenever possible.
